The uterosacral ligaments go from the back surface of the uterus at the
junction between the cervix and the uterus and it goes down and further
back to the sacrum. From your description, it may very well be the
uterosacral ligaments. It is very common for condometriosis to cause
scarring of the utrerosacral ligaments, uterosacral nodules and pain in
the area.
I have'nt searched for pictures of hte area but Dr. Hill has many great
pics on his site. Try there first.

I can place a finger on each side of this tissue, maybe skin or muscle not sure which, where I'm also able to feel some of my pubic bone. When I touched this area to see why I was hurting it was tender as if maybe it were inflamed. (I sometimes have to touch part of this area when I'm inserting applicators for anti-yeast medicine)

When my dr said that it had something to do with the uterosacral area it made me wonder out of curiosity this question: If I was having problems with my uterosacral ligaments would I be able to feel anything in that space? Also, could this be my endometriosis or another infection causing all of these different areas to hurt?
