Curious about a couple of things that my dr said

Hi again everyone!!

I know that it's been some time since I've last posted but as you can guess I have some more questions.

First thing has to do with the top portion of my vaginal opening (sorry if this portion gets a little bit lengthy but the details that I'm about to give makes me curious as to what is going on in there).

This area has been hurting me quite a bit for a while now, and when I described to my dr what I had felt 2 appts ago she said that what I was feeling was something to do with my uterosacral area.

So here's what I feel when I stick my fingers inside: some tissue that connects from the inner top portion of my vaginal opening and runs all the way to the back toward my cervix. I can place a finger on each side of this tissue, maybe skin or muscle not sure which, where I'm also able to feel some of my pubic bone. When I touched this area to see why I was hurting it was tender as if maybe it were inflamed. (I sometimes have to touch part of this area when I'm inserting applicators for anti-yeast medicine)

After I finished inside I began to feel pains in my stomach, uterus, and left ovary. When my dr said that it had something to do with the uterosacral area it made me wonder out of curiosity this question: If I was having problems with my uterosacral ligaments would I be able to feel anything in that space? Also, could this be my endometriosis or another infection causing all of these different areas to hurt?

Where might I be able to find a picture that can show me the entire vaginal wall all the way up to the other organs so that I can see what this area that I've just described is as well as what it is called before I go back to my dr on the 27th?

Kristy :)
