Hormones all out of whack.. possible perimenopause?

I have a question about my hormones after a subtotal hysterectomy. I had a hyst done 10 months ago and ever since then my hormones have been on superhigh. I feel like I am PMS'ing 3weeks out of every month. I am producing so much progesterone my face looks like a warzone with all the acne. I don't know what to do. I am irritable and anxious because of the elevated hormone levels and they never seem to calm down. Could this be a sign of perimenopause? I do also get hotflashes where I sweat profusely, but this doesn't happen often just every once in a while. Can anything be done about this? Can my hormones be kept under control with meds? Should I have any testing done? And if so what? Also do I have to see my gyn about this or can I see my GP? I am embarrassed to see my gyn because I have had so many problems since the hyst I am afraid he will think I am just making this up. I don't know what to do! I have lived with this long enough. I went to see a dermatologist for my skin, but nothing he has given me has helped. The acne goes away for a couple days and then the PMS starts and it comes right back again. I hate feeling like I want to slam my head into a wall and so jittery and anxious. I don't know what to do with myself. What can be done to control this? Help, anyone, please!!!
