I hate progesterone

I am 49 yr old, just got long siege of DUB under control, first episode. Periods regular every 28 - 29 days until started last July and did't end until 3 weeks ago. Workup found normal endometrium (biopsy) ultrasound showed enlarged uterus (11.7 x 5.9 x 7.2 cm), heterogeneous echoes suggestive of fibroid but none observed, with a few simple cysts on one ovary. I also have rectocele that requires splinting for evacuation, probably cystocele or other urethra problem since I leak with sneezing (allergies) and upon standing up following urination. During pregnancy, 11 years ago, OB remarked on extent of pelvic relaxation - did not think much of it at time, I functioned fine. Husband says I am "loose". Now on progesterone, have low burning, constant pain, son and husband say I am a royal pain and my concentration is shot. We recently moved so I have new gyn that I have not seen yet (two weeks) but her office has been managing the current acute problem. When I walk for exercise, I feel like my pelvic region is in syncopated beat to the rest of me. When I lay down, my very lower back hurts (like the "back labor" in my first pregnancy only nowhere as severe. When I sit down, feels like things bounce.

Question, am I premature to not want to continue with hormone manipulation, just get it all taken out, get the pelvic relaxation repaired while I'm still young enough to recuperate rapidly and so I can use unopposed estrogen and say syonara to progesterone?
