My husband and I just got custody of his 12 year old son. His Mom was being neglectful and he has been here with us for two weeks now. We love him to pieces:) I know this is a woman's health forum...so forgive me but I am desperate to talk with someone that might know something about leukemia! His symptoms: Nosebleeds...about 4 per day Bruises on his legs...unknown cause...he does not recall bumping into anything Trouble breathing Passing out...twice this week We took him to the ER, but when we got there his nosebleed had stopped, he felt fine, and they said to get him in to his pediatrician...his Mom didn't have one for him!!!!! I called one and the soonest appointment is for next Saturday the 28th!! I am panicked this is leukemia...it sure sounds like it...he is pale, tired a lot, and just doesn't look right to me:((( Does anyone know of a forum on the net for ask the pediatrician like this is for ask the ob/gyn? Again, sorry for this off topic post...but I felt it would reach many woman and perhaps someone could help me help my step son...I am worried sick:( Sincerely,
