Montgomery, MD: "Re: Abnormal Bleeding" Been on Micronor for 3 years. Had no problems with my period until recently - nothing has changed in those 3 years. I get my period on schedule first week of the month - after 3 days, I continue to blead lightly - brown/blackish to light red for 2 1/2 weeks after my period. Then it stops, have a week before my period. Why wouldn't the Micronor stop the uterine bleeding? I have no cramping or pain. Any suggestions why this is happening?
