Ovarian cysts... Please read! 15 yrs oldFrom: Angellica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 15 Oct 2000 21:59:25 -0500 (CDT)
Hi everyone, I'll just jump right in- about 4 months ago I started getting some sharp pains in my lower pelvic region. It started on the left, then right. It jumped around then stayed on the right. I fought with my mother to go see a doctor. Eventually we did to see about maybe a problem with my appendix. I didn't know the doctor but she semi felt around my stomach and basically told me that if something's wrong it will get worse and we'll know what the cause is. Well my mom left satisfied though I wasn't. Well, then aching starting occurring. Eventually the aching went into my pelvic bone it felt like, then down my legs. Sometimes it was a dull ache, and sometimes very intense. Finally I begged my mom to make an appointment with a gyn. She tried to make one with hers and I couldnt get in until december. SO we called someone friends had suggested. We went and saw her for a physical examination. Over my ovaries were tender and she thought she felt some lumps. She ordered an ultrasound. When I went into that she said there was definitely something near my left ovary but she could hardly find my right. After waiting a long time we called a doc to get a follow up appointment made, she still hadnt gotten results back yet. My appointment is tomorrow. I've been so stressed. And now I've found my self spotting (4 times) brown "sludge." Mom keeps telling me how normal everything is. I'm so sick of it. I just don't know. Is there anytihng you can tell me that could help? I'll rty to update after the appointment tomorrow. FOllicar cysts shouldve gone away already, i just don't know. All i am sure of is the pain and discomfort i'm in. Well i should go. thanks for your time. PS sorry so vague in alot of discriptions- short on time
