PLEASE HELP!!From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 14 Oct 2000 09:29:38 -0500 (CDT)
Hello. I hope you can help me understand this a little more. I am 23 yrs. old and I had a miscarriage back in March of this year. It was a very early miscarriage (5 weeks). We then tried for 5 or 6 months and Nothing seemed to be working so I was put on my first cycle (50 mg) of clomid. My LMP was Sept.14th and, on Oct. 5th I took a HPT and it was positive, on Oct. 10th my dr. did a urine preg. test and it was also positive. On Oct. the 5th my progesterone level was 10.7....I was tested again for my prog on Oct. 10th and my level was 31.7....So in one week my prog. level went up 21.0 Is this a normal rate of increase? I am very worried of another miscarriage. Any advice you can give me is greatly apprciated. Also when is a good time to tell everyone I am pregnant? Last time I told everyone I had a miscarriage and it made it even harder to deal with...so how long is a good time to wait before I let everyone know? Thank you very much. Waiting to hear from you,
--
Amy
