Infertility!

I heard that some women have a period and are not ovulating how does that work? I thought that to have a period you have to ovulate.

Also, I am very physically active (jogging and horsebackriding) I jog about 45-60 min 3 days a week and I do aerobics-weights and horsebackriding on other days. I was wondering if being so physically active after intercourse on fertile days would interrupt the conception process? Should I lower my physical activity if am trying to get pregnant?

Thank you!
