Up until now, my periods have always been very regular and also very light, usually lasting 3 - 5 days. However, two weeks ago I got what I thought was my period only two weeks after finishing my last one. I had bleeding for 8 days, and heavier than normal. Finally it stopped but has resumed again after intercourse, although it is very light and there was minor bleeding straight after intercourse. I live in New Zealand and not close to a city where I can visit woman's clinic and our local doctors make one feel very uncomfortable talking about subjects like this. I thought at first maybe I was starting to enter menopause, but realise now that this is not so. Could you give me any adivce at all as to what is happening?
