Actually alot of things cause yeast infections. If you are like me I get them all the time. Don't use any oil based products around that area or in your bath water. Also don't douche. Anything you use in or around your vagina should be water based only. Menstration itself can let a yeast infection occur. I got a yeast infection shortly after a d and c I had in Aug. due to the fact they used antiseptic to kill germs and as well as the good bacteria around it. Use antibacterial soap when you wash that area of your body. I use dial but that is just my preference and make sure you wash very well.

You can eat certain foods to prohibit yeast infections like yogurt. I have also heard cranberry juice can help and this also prevents urinary tract infections as well. Your local herb store carries cran adophilus pills which can do the trick also. They contain cranberry extract and adophilus bacteria which is found in yogurt and in adophilus milk..That is about all I know...hope it helps..

Sincerely, Angelia Perez
