I just wanted to tell I also lost my first pregnancy at 23 weeks. My Dr
did not wait for me to have a second loss before he intervened and tried
to sort out the problem. I was given a HSG test and later a rod dilator
test (which I am having memory lapse and can't recall their name).
Neither test is designed to give a definate IC diagnosis but they can
sometimes help to zero in on the problem for a loss. I would seek out a
Dr who has a special interest in second trimester losses. You don't
have to accept you need several of these losses before a Dr will
intervene and perhaps suggest preventative measures. One IC loss was
enough for me and my second pregnancy was successful after my cerclage
was placed.
I am sorry for you loss and hope you are doing ok.
