1 mg contains 100 mcg 10 mcg = 0.1 mg 20 mcg = 0.2 mg

The amount of estrogen in OCP's is much greater than is needed for postmenopausal hormone replacement. If the uterus is still present, it is recommended strongly that a progestational agent be given with the estrogen, to prevent the development of endometrial hyperplasia or endometrial cancer.
