Infertility questionsFrom: Another (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 29 Sep 2000 19:39:19 -0500 (CDT)
One month of trying with no success. I know, you'd say too early to get worried, but I am over 30 and can't afford waiting too long. Is there anything I can check now? Ultrasound, some special tests? I thought I am healthy, I have regular periods (29+-1 days), my pap smears were normal. No cases of (or predisposition to) infertility in my family, except one third-degree cousin who had her first baby after two years of ttc and my aunt who took three and half years for conceiving her daughter, she was in her forties that time. Actually, I was sick with the flu a few days before my ovulation, and we both spent lots of time in hot springs (~110F) around that time. Could it be also a reason? All suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
