Sorry this was so long but I >would like to get an answer to this if possible, I really do not like >feeling this way,Thanks in advance,Peggy Aygestin is a progestational agent similar to provera. Most progestational agents are reported to cause depression and mood swings in some women. I don't know what arimidex is for sure. Its generic name is Anastrozole and it is indicated for the treatment of Advanced breast cancer, so I suspect it is also some kind of hormone. Ovarian remnant syndrome is very easy to rule in or out. Go off all hormones for 2 weeks and then get an FSH level. If it is above 50, there is no ovarian remnant. If under 25, then there is something producing estrogen somewhere and that would most likely be an ovarian remnant. RDB
