LUFS

I'm not sure what is my progesterone level on day 21. Because my OB didn't
seem to care about that. He just measured my
hormone level on the follicular phase only. And there was an indication that
FSH on day 8 (too late to measure ?) is too low, and my OB said that I need
to try Clomid.
Is it possible that the follicle seen after HCG shot is a corpus luteum
instead of unruptured follicle ? If this is the case I'll do some blood work
to measure my progesterone level to make sure that I was ovulated. I don't
know the theory, my OB said that if the follicle was luteinized even though
without expelling the egg it will produce progesterone afterwards. But I
didn't get any explaination what will my progesterone level if it's true
that I wasn't ovulated.
I've used to measure my BBT before and I thought that I was ovulated because
of there was a significant rise on day 15-17 per cycle. But my OB said that
the fact (ultrasound examination) my follicle was still there after HCG shot
which proved that
I wasn't ovulated.
In your opinion, what should I do next to be able to determine whether I'm
ovulating or not. If I could ovulate normally, maybe there should be any
other examination to be able to conceive, right ?!
Appreciate your suggestion. Sorry that I really want to know the detail.
Thank's anyway.
