She had a D&C about a week ago, but has been bleeding and having severe cramps for a week. Yesterday she had to go to the hospital for a blood test and after an examination was told that the doctor hadn't got all the tissue the first time the D&C was performed. She has to have another and was very upset that the job wasn't done right the first time round. Has anyone had to have 2 D&Cs for a molar pregnancy? Also how severe should cramps be and how long should bleeding last after a D&C? Whenever she tells the doctor about her heavy bleeding, she just says that it's normal. We don't think passing blood clots a week after a D&C is normal. Can anyone help us answer these questions?
