The fibroids would not have gone away with your taking the pill. They
may have shrunk slightly, but they do not disappear. Your doc should be
able to evaluate you for the fibroids. The symptoms you have are
ceratinly suggestive of fibroids, but an exam and ultrasound would give
more specific info. Surgery, by definition, is invasive. There are
less extensive ways to operate noe, but the approach depends upon the
individual situation. Hopefully, you can find a doc you like to review
your options with you.
