I know what you mean!! My hair is doing the same thing. When I wash it I can pull out a handfull. When I comb it I get another handfull. When I clean the dryer filter I end up with another bundle. Any time of the day I can just run my hands through my hair and out comes more! This started a month ago and hasn't slowed. My hair is noticably thinner. I would be worried but I went through the exact same thing almost 3 years ago. I think that, at least in my case, it must be stress. My skin is also breaking out worse than it has since I was a teenager. I understand that there are other things (cancer?) that could cause this type of hair loss, but I think that mine is due to stress. I believe that, like last time, it will eventually stop falling out and start getting thicker again. My mom has no hair right now due to chemo so at least I am in good company. :o)
