I wonder if (PTS & Reanastomosis)

I have been suffering perimenopausal symptoms since the age of 23. I had a BTL at the age of 22 4 weeks after my second child was born. I was not taking any form of BC before hand but I did use a diaphram. OK, it has been almost 5 years since I had the surgery and I still suffer. I have hot flashes so severly that my internist had me tested for carcinoid syndrome! Thank the Lord all my tests came back negative. My first HIAA test was slightly elevated at 10.4 but could have been because of my diet before the test. I dunno, but my second test was normal at 4.3. Negative CT scan and chest x-rays. Now, I am going back to my GYN to discuss the possibilities with her. I wonder though, would a tubal reversal (or reanastomosis) solve my problems. I am very curious if anyone has had one done and if it solved their physical symptoms. Please respond with your ideas on the subject.

My symptoms today include the following:

red hot flushes dry, scratchy skin acne mild weight gain fatigue hot flushes with exertion moderately heavy bleeding ovarian cysts on left ovary extreme heaviness during period as if I am swollen down there

previous symptoms within a year of surgery included:

severe cramping severe pain during ovulation depression very moderate heavy bleeding

Thanks for having this discussion group! Amy
