Heavy bleeding can be the aftermath of any pregnancy ending, be it a termination, an ectopic or a full term delivery. However, your bleeding seems excessive and a visit to your doctor is in order. You should have a pelvic exam, a blood count and possibly a sonogram to evaluate this. Birth control pills, long or short term can be helpful in such situations.

Hope this helps.
