It is possible, but it sounds like your doc did a DNA probe test, which are very accurate. It is more likely that you don't.

That test may be all that you needed to make the diagnosis.

The Q-tip test gave direct stimulation of the pain site, so it may have caused more intense and longer lasting pain. >
