My OB tells me to expect my next period around this time of the month, give or take a week. However she also said that it might take 6 mths even. Does this mean i have to wait until my next period starts before i can start my 'basal temp charting/muscus check' routine to determine ovulation? What if my period doesn't come.. does this mean i won't ovulate? I am actually expecting my period to arrive but had a temperature surge this morning and noticed stretchy mucus (although not egg white). What does this mean? Thanks ade.
