Has anyone ever heard of this? I know it is an SSRI medication but would it help with hot flashes? My sister has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and is starting Chemo tommorow, she had an appointment with her PCP yesterday and he prescribed effexor for her hot flashes. I told her she should check with her oncologist before taking this medication but has already started it. What are your thoughts?
