going off BCP - will acne be back? Hi, I've searched the archives, but there was no answer: I'm planning to quit taking the pill (OrthoTriCyclen), because I'm just so sick of it. Last time I tried (about 18 months ago, and I'm 32), my acne came back in full force, even on my back etc. I scar easily and still have pigment spots where those pimples grew, and teaching college kids whose skin is clearer than yours is really not much fun...:-( Naturally, I went right back on the much-hated pill after 8 weeks. Now, was this just a bungee-kind of reaction, with hormones going wild and if I had given it time, it would have sorted itself out? Is there any way of predicting my skin status, say, 6 months from now? When can hormone testing be done after I'm off the pill?
