Hi Jodie, My name is Amber. I am very sorry for your losses. I can relate. I have had 4 miscarriages. This last one was last August 99' and it too was a blighted ovum. I was also on progesterone suppositories 2x a day. I had a D&C for that pregnancy loss and that one only. After this last loss and testing me for everything in the book they can think of my Dr. went ahead and tested mine and my husband genetics and we ended up having a major chromosomal problem..actually it is with my husbands genes and will never do anything to him he is normal, the only thing it will effect is our reproduction. I unfortinally do not have any children and have been trying for just about 5 years for a baby. This chromosome problem is called a balanced translocation. It is not all that uncommom about 1/500 people have this and it can cause multiple losses including a blighted ovum. The test is a simple blood test and can cost you about $ 500 per person for this test, although your insurance might cover it like ours did.....Please let me know what you decide to do....and best of luck to you amber
