Cystocele/pregnancy

I have been reading several messages on this site trying to find out more information on having children after having bladder prolapse. I ended up with grade 3 cystocele 3 wks after giving birth to my second child (1 yr ago). However, my doctor says it was caused by the birth of my first, 3 hrs of hard pushing and he was 9 lb 1oz. I had tough pregnancies both times and ended up on bedrest with both and several bladder/urinary tr infections, causing preterm labor. Now after I have read some letters from other women with my problem, I am feeling a little confused as to why my doctor was so iffy about me ever being able to have another child again. After pushing him for more info on it he did tell me it may be possible but I was looking at a lot of complications, etc. I would have to have a C-section (which I would accept), I am looking at total prolapse (rectal, uterus, etc) for sure?, and severe bleeding after birth which would mean blood transfusions. Now he and another doctor, OBGYN, said they would not do surgery first if I was planning on more. My doctor is a GP, but I trust in him thoroughly and he has gotten advice from a local OBGYN with my case. They both think I am crazy, in their own words, for even thinking of having another child. I am due for my annual exam in about 6 wks or so and will see how the prolapse is doing. I do have lots of rectal pressure and am worried it will fall out regardless as he said it might. Am I putting myself at risk or a child if I do decide to have another? How many women actually go for it and what is the outcome? I was told I could be on bedrest for the last trimester and deliver preterm. Is this common? I thank you for your advise.
