testosterone patch for sexual disfunctionFrom: Ann (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 7 Sep 2000 19:01:07 -0500 (CDT)
I'm 25 years old and have endo. I've had 3 surgeries, the last of which my right ovary was removed. I take Ortho/Novum 1/30. Since my last surgery in June 2000, my endo pain hasn't come back. Ever since all my problems with endo, I haven't had the same level of sexual desire and response. I have zero sex drive and it's driving both me and my husband crazy. I've just read about the testosterone patch on cnn.com and it sounds wonderful. Am I too young to even consider something like this? Will the testosterone patch make my endo flair up? If testosterone isn't the answer, is there anything that is? I really don't want to spend the rest of my life feeling so blah. Here's the cnn.com link for anyone interested: http://www.cnn.com/2000/HEALTH/women/09/07/women.testosterone/index.html Thank you,
-- Ann
