Montgomery, MD: "Re: UTI mystery" Hi, for about four weeks, I've been having symptoms of an UTI (I had a bout of that 10 years ago, so I remember the pain). Strangely though, the symptoms (urgency, prequency, pain before, while and up to 30 minutes after urinating, but no blood) only appear about twice a week. I haven't had intercourse in a month, two urine samples came back fine, as did the gyn exam. I do drink insane amounts of water, have been on cranberry capsules for two weeks, don't drink coffee, tea or soda, don't smoke. What might be a good next step? -- Anna Next message: Harvey S.
