Ok, this doesnt directly relate to this forum and i'm really sorry but I haven't really got anyone else to ask. I have this pain about a half an inch below my hip bone, its been there off and on for about 3 weeks and things like going up and down the stairs or standing for long periods of time make it worse. I went to the walk-in clinic and I was in there for like 2 mins and with just having me move my leg around and telling him which way hurt me he said I had sprained my hip (im not very athletic so i have no idea how i pulled that one off)...my question is how would he know that by just watching me move my leg around for a minute? and how long should I wait before returning to a doctor? (he didnt give me any sort of time frame that it should take to heal) Anyhow as I said before this totally doesnt relate to this forum and im really sorry I just thought maybe someone on here might have had this before and could comment!
