I am not sure that "Depo periods" are necessarily worse than regular periods. I have not had a patient report that to me. Still, if these are your typical menses symptoms less the bleeding, then I suppose that it is possible. In any event, NSAIDs such as ibuprofen or naproxen should help if that is the case.
