Lots of fiber, H2O, no carbonation, stay away from gassy foods, broccoli, cauliflower, nuts. Also, stay off narcotic pain meds as much as possible, as they will slow down the bowel fuction. May help to take extra fiber, colace, fibercon, citrucel. Hope this helps.
