There is really not a'HORMONAL IMBALANCE TEST' to take. We can check your FSH to see if you are menopausal, check your thyroid for imbalance, check your progesterone to see if you are ovulating well, and check your FSH/LH ratio for PCO, but there is no 'IMBALANCE' test. That said, you are having either anovulatory cycles or you are just having long cycles, ie, it is always 14 days from ovulation to menstruation with normal ovarian function, but the time from menstruation to ovulation can be variable, even with normal ovulation. You may be doing this, as it sounds like your PMS is coming about 10 days before you menstruate, even though your ovulation is occuring 2 weeks later with each cycle. Using a basal body temperature chart could help you see if this is the case. Now, what can you do? Probably use the pill is your best option, and of course, reduce your stress. Sorry this is so long winded. Hope this helps.
