I just wanted to say thanks to the doctor who responded to my allergic reaction post a week or so ago. I have continued to have intense joint pain following my severe outbreak of hives and swelling since taking Percodan and keflex. Apparently, I am allergic to both drugs. My allergist says I have serum sickness. I asked about how common this is and he says he sees 2 cases a year! Go figure I would be one of the two! :)

Anyway, I am back on prednisone for another 14 days. I have also been given an epi pen and told a bunch of foods to avoid. I am told my body will be super sensitive from this one episode.

DH wants to know if I can donate my body for medical research while I'm alive?! He wants to make some money off of me. If it is rare, I will get it. Ugh!

Thanks again!

P.S. I am the one who had a stroke at the age of 22 while on birth control pills (had MVP), had pregnancy induced hyperthyroidism (no-one can believe this), my baby birthed himself and I found him under the covers etc etc...Maybe my DH has a point! :)
