This is certainly smaller than a uterus and could be compatible with just a cervix. The pictures mean more than any measurements.

You need ot ask your physician who was the one who saw what was left with his own eyeballs, not with echos bouncing off tissues.

I went for the U/S by myself and I was not asked to get >one by my doc.

I didn't know that radiologists would do this. I know insurance wouldn't pay for it without a referral.

This was just for my own knowledge to know how much is >left in me. Can anyone tell me if I should alert my doc to this?

Yes. Then he/she can answer your questions and hopefully allay your fears. May also want to get the pictures and look at them.

Sometimes a small amount of the endometrium(the lining of the uterus taht causes periods when it is shed) may grow down into the cervical canal. This can indeed sometimes lead to regular periods. If there is only a little of it, it could shed itself out entirely and then stop.

And now I haven't had a period in 2 >months so I thought maybe there isn't any uterine tissue left at all. So

Nothing.
