Vaginal bleeding after bowel movement and recent m/cFrom: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Aug 2000 19:43:26 -0500 (CDT)
I recently had a m/c at about 9 weeks lmp. During the 5th week I started having some vaginal spotting (I am positive it is vaginal). I noticed would be much worse at the time of a bowel movement and it would gradually taper off until the next one. This continued through the pregnancy getting worse right before the m/c. My doctor thought it must have just been blood that was already in there getting pushed out but I thought there was too much. Everything was normal after the m/c for a few weeks. A few days ago, around the normal time for my first period it started again. There is quite a bit of blood and some clumps (again I am sure it is vaginal) with bowel movements and then it stops pretty quickly thereafter. I was hoping to get pregnant again soon but I am worried this may have been a cause of the m/c. Also, could this be a sign of endometriosis? It's not really painful? Mary
