Hi Melissa, I know that you requested that Dr. Braun respond to your post but thought that I would try to give you a little help until he can respond,You first mention that your Dr. looked under the microscope and saw major bacteria but then when he did a culture it showed no bacteria ? I would wonder if there is no bacteria why your Dr. prescibe flagyl? I don't believe that the flagyl will work on a yeast infection but I may be wrong.I think that cleocin is also used for bacterial infections? Good Luck, Peggy
