Robin thanks for the info & the humor (if we can't laugh about life, we can't make it thru!!!). I am defintely changing Dr, she always seems much too hurried, will NEVER talk over the phone w/patients. After not having my period for over 31 days, (when I usually go every 14 to 20 days)it's finally here (from hell, no less). I am going to make an appt w/her just to ask questions, and to see how to obtain copies of medical records, u/s, etc. Drs always intimidate me, but I've never felt so awful in my life & think it's time to take an active role in my health. I've just got to get a backbone & demand (if necessary) she take some time to talk to me, her bedside manner is not the best I've ever seen. She treated me for severe dysplasia (LEEP)last July & did a D&C to stop the heavy & very irregular bleeding (by the why it obviously didn't). I just don't think she "likes" me because when she did the coloscopy (sp), it was terribly painful & she raised her voice & said you shouldn't be in pain, this procedure doesen't hurt. Oh, but it did!! She took 6 tissue samples & I thought it did hurt terribly. I get the feeling she thinks I'm a whiner, maybe I am, maybe my threshold for pain is not the norm, but I believe a caring physician should just allow for us cry babies & not take it personal. Anyway, thanks for letting me vent & for your reply.> >
