Taking Pill, and getting period not when I am suppose toFrom: aly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Aug 2000 09:53:11 -0500 (CDT)
I am currently taking Ortho-tricyclen, and am having my period during the placebo pill week. That ended the Sunday before last, and I started my period again today, Thursday (very light, spotting). Is this normal? I have been diagnosed with PCOS, and have only been taking the pill for 7 months. I was also on Metaformin, but this past month have been switched to Actos. I know that sometimes when you get pregnant you spot, but I really don't think that is it because (1) I have PCOS and have been informed it might be difficult for me to get pregnant (2) am on the pill and (3) am also having cramps. Unless I'm miscarrying, but I would think that would be more blood. Any insight you could give me would be great.
-- Thanks! aly coe
