Hello, I am a 27 year old mother of soon to be two children. And I was just reading about the hpv virus and yes it can be very serious if not treated, and that is what happen in my case I had and my paps were coming back fine and then i finally had a bad one. well all they did for me was watch me and did biopsy after biopsy and for 4 years I stayed at a stage 1 then 10 months later after a pap i had another one and was at a stage 3 which is one stage before cervical cancer, I ended up getting doctor finally who decided that others were playing with my health and did laser surgery, which I was given a 50/50chance of getting rid of it in the office after the surgery I was told 98% chance of it being gone needless to say it didn't work I am now 8 weeks pregnant and found out I am at a stage (1 Mild dysplasia) yes the surgery worked long enough to get me pregnant and lowered the stage. But now I am faced with having a hysteroctomy at the age of 27 after baby is born. All I can tell any women don't let this go and don't let the doctor's be in control of your care if they tell you you have this then read up on it and take control and get done what needs to be done. I trusted my doctors and I was let down. It is a very serious thing....
