Please help, question re: PCOS, BBT, avandia and ovulationFrom: shellie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Aug 2000 08:17:36 -0500 (CDT)
I was just dx with PCOS in July. I started Avandia over 2 weeks ago. At that time my ultrasound showed the string of pearls on one side and follicles on the other. Since then my temps had a rise. My question is does Avandia raise your BBT? Could this be a sign of ovulation? I didn't have O signs until a week into the temp rise. It actually went down and then the symptoms (nasty migraine, ewcm, cramps . . .) and went back up and has stayed up now. Can you ovulate without the nice low temps then high temps? Here's the temps since starting Avandia (previous to that they hovered around 97.2-5 with a few spikes here and there). The one time I know I ovulated (I have a daughter), my temps went to 98.1 and stayed there. 97.3 97.6 97.5 97.3 97.9 98 97.5 woke up with a fan on, open windows and freezing. 98.2 98.4 98 ewcm 97.7 woke an hour early this is where the symptoms were 98.1 98 What do you think??
