Hi Anita,
We produce cysts every month, called Functional Cysts. Those are
normal. That could be what they are seeing, and if small, there is
usually no cause for concern. If I am not mistaken, they usually get to
be about 3cm (a little over an inch in size) and that is okay.
If your Dr. will not speak with you on the phone, either make an appt.
with her. You should never accept a treatment without knowing all about
it...why you are on it, how soon to see results of treatment, etc. I
personally feel it is inappropriate for a receptionist to be giving you
any test results or telling you what your options are. At the very
least, a nurse should be handling this. The nurse can also go back and
talk to the Dr. for you, although as I said, the Dr. should be talking
with YOU! If she is unwilling to speak with you about the treatment,
then getting a copy of the Ultrasound and any other tests and going for
another opinion may be something to think about. Have they even told
you what type of hormones they are putting you on?? There are many
(OCP's, Depo-Lupron, DepoProvera, Provera, etc. etc. etc.).
Hope this helps! Good luck to you!

I'm not a Dr. or any type of Medical Professional. The information I share is based on what I have experienced personally or what I have learned.
