AMS We instruct some patients to take the pill continuously, instead of cyclically all the time, esp in relation to endometriosis, migraine headaches, etc. It can also be done to avoid menses at inoppotune times, ie vacation, honeymoon. I usually only do this with the monophasic pills. As far as the nausea, try taking them with a meal, primarily the largest of the day. That may help to stem the nausea. Good Luck
