There are about a dozen conditions that could cause this, although this does sound like a fissure or excoriation (medical terms for a tear or irritated spot at the bottom part of the vaginal opening). It's possible that until you get medication for this, it will only get worse. I probably see hundreds of patients a year who complain of painful intercourse, and I bet your doctor does, too.
