This is not a reason to not take the estrogen, but rather a reason to get the blood pressure controlled so that you can safely take the estrogen. The cardiovascular risk of not taking the estrogen is far greater than the cardiovascular risk of the blood pressure it may cause, especially when controlled appropriately... Lynn
