You can call your local rape crisis line and ask them for names of OB/GYN's in your area that are sympathic and understanding about sexual assault patients. My team keeps a list of doctors for this purpose. I was assaulted almost 7 years ago, and I really don't like going to the GYN. I have a wonderful doctor who I got from the hotline and she is the best OB/GYN I have ever had.
