'Not Much Room in There'

From: Penny (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I recently went off the pill with the intention of trying for our first child soon. I went for a pap a few days ago, and with a possible future pregnancy in mind, my doctor did an internal. She commented that there's "not much room in there" but that pregnancy hormones work to help everything "spread apart" as it were.

My question is whether having "not much room in there" is likely to cause problems in pregnancy? If so, what sort of problems?

Many thanks, Penny
