Thank you and Lynn for responding. For not being a doctor you sound
real educated in the subject. I would like to ask you what is a GI.
What do they specialize in?
To answer some of your questions.
The pain will start on the same day as my period and will continue to
hert even after my period has stopped (this went on for about 1 1/2
years. When I had my laparoscopy done my obgyn said that I had a cyst
the size of a lemon and that they drained it. Since then the pain has
changed some. It starts at the end of my period and lasts about 5 days.
However I have been keeping track and its getting stronger and the days
keep increasing.
The pain is right above my hairline on my right side and on my worse
days the pain like radiats as far up to the top of my hip on the better
days its just like having a needle poking you. At times I swear I can
feel a small hard ball and when I touch it, it herts. MY doctor said I
just may be feeling the edge of my uterus.
I have gone to two different obgyns and countless family doctors. It
seems they keep kicking me out with painkillers, antidepressants non of
which I take. This pain is effecting everyone around me. Im 29 and I
have two children and during my lapascopy I had my tubes tied. But I
still fear taking hormone pills and the thought of taking what I feel is
my part of women hood away discusses me.
Thanks so much for your time. I appreciate all the information you
provided me and fully intend to seek a GI.
Thanks
Betty
