Abdominal/pelvic painFrom: Betty (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 16 Aug 2000 20:30:47 -0500 (CDT)
To whom it may concern: I have been getting a pain for almost 2 years now. Its the exact same routine each month. It begins with me cycle and continues for two weeks. It feels like someone is jabbing a pencil into my pelvic area. (always on my right side) It is often accompanied by loose stools, my period and gas. I have had ultrasounds and a laposcopy done. I am told I have a 2cm fibroid in the back of my uterus, an ovarian cyst and both of by Fallopian tubes are swollen and coagulated. I still have doubts that, thats the cuase of my pain. With my symptoms given is their any other possibility. My doctor says I need to have it all removed and take hormone pills. I am still young and fear this. He has also suggested to rule out any other possibilities to have an IVP and barivary enamia air contrast???? test? Thanks so much for any advices given.
