Sheila,

I would suggest a second opinion on the hysterectomy. Scar tissue can be dissected. I had massive scarring at my first laparoscopy from an appendectomy that was done 21 years prior. It was wrapped around all sorts of stuff, but it was taken care of, without the need of having a hyst (it was at the ovaries, uterus, everywhere...some was also from Endometriosis as well).

Adhesions are from what I can tell, very common. In the right hands, they may be able to save your uterus.
